Everyone says we're so much alike, but actually we're not. We share a love of great beer but not of Vodka.  We both like wine but differ on our favorite vintage --- she prefers a Chardonnay while I'm wedded to a great Cab. I'm a reformed meat-a-holic forced into the dark world of veganism, but finally said "screw it," life's already too short not to enjoy really great food.

 

But the one thing we both agree on is the demand for really great non-chain restaurants in the Washington DC area (most certainly northern VA).  So, we set out to find them and to report on those places, GOOD AND BAD, from a baby boomer and a millennial's perspective.
